Britain's great music-hall comedian, Frank Randle, stars as an accident-prone Private in his final film appearance. His mission
is to save the delectable Corporal Diana Dors from the lecherous clutches of his Sergeant Major, played by Michael Brennan; and to steer
her into the arms of another soldier. This fast moving comedy features some of the great light entertainers of the time including the
professional champion wrestler Jack Pye and the celebrated BBC Radio and TV pianist, Winifred Atwell.
